Samuel Lee White, III

Consultant + IDI Qualified Administrator (he, him)

Greetings, I'm Sam! I am a certified DEI practitioner trained in the areas of conflict transformation, peacebuilding, and community engagement. For the past decade, I have served organizations and communities in having hard, heartfelt conversations about race and difference. I have experience leading diversity initiatives in the non-profit and higher education sectors and working with agencies in the public safety/criminal justice sector. I specialize in topics related to race/ethnicity, global citizenship, social justice, religious diversity, allyship, and community organizing.

For me, DEI is about community building and imploring others to see the humanity in everyone they encounter. One tool I enjoy using in this work is the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI); the IDI is a perfect tool to help people begin the work of developing greater cultural self-awareness on the journey to being culturally other aware and seeing the humanity of others. I look forward to helping you leverage the power of diversity to transform your organization and community.
